Daniel O’Boyle: Apprentice of the Month, Dec 2017!

We love it when one of our team gets the recognition they deserve – when one of us wins, we all win!

We are delighted to announce that our Marketing Associate, Daniel, has been awarded Apprentice of the Month from Lagat, who are one of Lincolnshire’s leading training companies for work placed learning.

Daniel received the award, not only for his commitment and dedication to the Apprenticeship Programme, but also the excellent progression he’s made throughout his first year in a particularly fast-paced industry.

“We’ve not just awarded Daniel for his performance during the past month, we’ve taken into account his hard work and continual outstanding performance throughout the whole year.” said Kevin Brewer, Training Officer at Lagat.

Daniel spent the majority of his first year optimising Google Adwords, working closely with Adam to understand what works and what doesn’t for each of our clients’ accounts. He’s shown excellent analytical skills, while focusing on the right key performance indicators.

During his time here, he has passed two Google Adwords exams (Fundamentals & Search Advertising) as well one for Google Analytics. He’s also started to become heavily involvedĀ in Spiral Media’s QA processes for projects and large pieces of work before launch.

Away from service delivery, Daniel put forward an idea to management whereby he wanted to monitor the morale levels of the office to help the company stay mindful of how teams are. From this, he suggested we would be able to act faster to trigger the right actions to help keep spirits high. He got the buy-in from everyone, and has since spear-headed it successfully.

This is another one of the elements that impressed Lagat, as it shows a lot about Daniel’s character and his intent to be a stronger team player.

Next for Daniel is SEO, where he can put the skills he already possesses to the test under the support of Phil (MD) and Charlotte (Digital Marketing Manager). As you can probably guess from this write up, he’s also picking this area up very quickly as well!

Well done Daniel, you’ve done extremely well, and we look forward to supporting you throughout 2018.
