Spiral Media Visits Google’s London HQ


Late last month, we got an invite from our agency rep to be part of a Google Partner agency focus group at Google’s London HQ on Friday 3rd June.

Phil (our MD), and I went along, not knowing exactly what to expect, but excited to be part of it.

Over the course of the afternoon, we had the opportunity to put forward lots of ideas, as well as learn more about the Google Partners program.

The day started with introductions – there were two other agencies there, along with 3 of the Google Partners team and a representative from an external consultancy – who ran the session. Plenty of refreshments were provided, and the session began!

The three hour focus group covered:

  • Our vision and growth strategy
  • The methods we use to attract business
  • Internal structure and processes
  • The challenges that face us and our growth
  • Feedback on Google services, and feedback from our clients
  • Tips and techniques we (the three agencies at the event) all use in Google AdWords

All in all, a great day, and we’re looking forward to building our relationship with Google over the coming years.

..and of course, with it being a Friday, a few beers and a burger before the train back to Lincoln seemed a good way to finish!
